Motivation to Keep Going When You Don’t Want to Exercise

Sometimes you wake up and you just don’t want to exercise. You can think of a million reasons not to: Your head hurts. Your legs hurt. Your back hurts. You’re too tired. You feel sick. It’s raining outside. You did it yesterday and you want a break.

Pull yourself out of bed and just start. That’s what I did this morning. I used all of those excuses and more to justify not exercising. But it was all crap. I made it up to avoid a little bit of discomfort.

So keep going. Hold your head up high and remember that you committed to this. You deserve to feel amazing. You deserve to be strong. Show your excuses who’s boss.

Rise early. Start well. Work hard. Play harder. Commit yourself. Be strong. Stand fast.

You can do it. You can get up out of bed and get your body moving. All it takes is the desire and the will to keep going. Just get started and you’ll keep going until the end.

And guess what? It’s worth it. You know you’ll feel great when you’re done. Overall you’ll feel better about yourself. You’ll have more energy, more fun, more confidence.

So keep going. Don’t give up. If you need some encouragement, find me on Coach.me, Facebook or Twitter. Let’s get moving!
