Hey, my name is Nathan and I am a minimalist. I am also a husband, a writer, a college student, and a techy. When I’m not doing one of those things I’m usually reading a good book, riding my bicycle, or exploring nature.
When I first discovered minimalism in 2008 as a teenager I was intrigued by the idea of owning less. I have worked ever since to learn more about a simple lifestyle and I have learned that minimalism and simple living is much more than just owning less stuff. I now know that it is about making space and time for doing what you love and so much more!
I started this blog in 2014 to write about my discoveries about simple living to share with others who are on this path. I write about simplifying the amount of things you own, simplifying our virtual and online lives, learning to let go, and finding happiness and joy by doing what we love. Minimalism can help us achieve all of these things and much more.
Please check out the products and services that I support and that support me at the bottom of this page. I put them here so they wouldn’t be intrusive to reading the blog. If you like what you read, please support us so we can continue creating simple beauty.
In 2015 I completed my first Year of Change, where I experimented with one habit each month for a year. You can read about what I did here. I’m doing this again in 2016 and you can read more about this year’s Year of Change here.
