As I clear the clutter from my life this month I have noticed a few things that I would like to share with you:
I don’t miss the stuff I have gotten rid of. In fact, I can’t even remember what most of the things were that I donated or threw out. That is a good feeling.
I am happier with the things I have left. I appreciate them more. I love them more. I have more time to use, wear, and enjoy them. And I don’t feel like I need to get more.
I didn’t need as much as I thought. The more I got rid of, the more I realized that I didn’t need to have that many things. It felt like when I cleared out the unwanted things that the things I love took up more room.
There was a scary fear of letting go of something that I really needed. Watch the fear. Don’t listen to it, but watch it. After a few days without whatever the thing was, the fear will go away.
